Harry Potter: Order of The Phoenix

I am not really a Harry Potter fan and I watched it because I wanted to know the story. Anyway, great special effects and looked how has Harry grown. There are new creatures in this movie like centaurs (hoped I spelled it right) - half man and half horse and also a giant who look like a kid! Great actions at the end of the movie and I know why people are rushing to get the last book Deathly Hallows after watching the ending.

Overall - 4 Stars

Transformer

I think I am a action packed movie fan. I just loved to watch movies with great action and special effects which brings me to Transformer. What a GREAT special effects movie, yap great because of how the cars transform into robots and back. Do you know that Transformer is originally a cartoon series? When I know that Transformer is going to be made into a movie, I just knew it is going to be a great special effect movie.

The story is simple. The good robots versus the evil robots. The evil robots wants to destroy human and the good robots managed to foil the plan and save mankind. Sounds like DieHard 4 and Fantastic 4 - Rise of the Silver Surfer.

I think I need to watch movie with better storyline next time.

Die Hard 4.0

I wanted to watch Transformer but could not get a good seat at the cinema so I decided to catch Die Hard 4.0 instead. If you have watched the Die Hard series before and you are a Bruce Willis fan then you will love this fourth instalment.

The storyline - a genius hacker set off a program called Fire blah blah (could not remember the name) and caused almost everything to crash from traffic system to electric power so as to steal all the Americans money. So came Bruce Willis to stop him. I thought the story is quite interesting.

There are many exciting scenes like the scene where the fighter jet went after Brue Willis in the highway.

I give the movie 4 out of 5 stars.

Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer

My wife and I go for a movie almost every week. So I wanted to start a blog and review the movies we have watched.

Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer

I give it 3 out of 5 stars. Quite entertaining. The main attraction is of course the Silver Surfer who has 'surfed' to earth to destroy it and who else to save the earth from destruction? You know the answer already - the Fantastic 4 of course. The storyline is simple but the great computer graphic animation for the Silver Surfer made up for the weak plot. Watch out for the collapse of the London Eye and the super powered Torch where he borrowed the power of Mr Fantastic, The Thing and Invicible woman to fight Dr Doom.
